Route Sales Drivers (No Current Openings)
Portland French Bakery delivers fresh products from its plant on N. Marine
Drive to hundreds of stores and restaurants throughout the greater Portland
Metropolitan Area. A route driver’s day typically begins
early in the morning (3:00 – 4:00 a.m.) and extends approximately through the noon hour.
Responsibilities include managing the product assigned to your vehicle,
delivering the products to our customers on the route, and maintaining
professional and cordial relationships with each customer representative
contacted in the normal course of business. A safe and skillful driving
record is obviously a must. Compensation is commensurate with experience,
and performance and compensation reviews are scheduled with regularity.

Production/Baking (No Current Openings)
There are many aspects to the production process, from managing raw
materials and mixing dough to the baking and packaging of our products. Each
of these jobs requires training and a learning process, but many positions
are staffed with employees who began with little or no experience and
learned their skills “on the job.” Bakers should be committed to their craft but willing to be
part of a team effort to achieve the most effective techniques. We look for
committed employees who are flexible in their working hours and responsible

Engineering/Maintenance (No Current Openings)
Our bakery has a lot of moving parts, all of which need maintenance,
cleaning, repair, upgrading and occasional replacement. Our managers seek
motivated individuals with the skills to perform routine preventative
maintenance and repair of bakery production and packaging machines and
natural gas fired ovens. Jobs are also available on strictly the
maintenance level, primarily insuring clean equipment and a clean working
environment. We are willing to train the right person with a good
mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and the willingness to perform
and learn new skills.
